For the second consecutive year, Zucchetti Centro Sistemi recorded triple-digit turnover growth, closing 2022 with a +167% increase on 2021, for a total of 660 million euros. They were 97 million in 2020. The forecasts are more than positive also for 2023.
In addition to the turnover, the size of the company has also grown, in Tuscany and in the other Italian districts: in total, the group has more than 500 employees, with an overall average age of less than 40 years. In 2022, 55 new resources joined the company and 90 entered the group galaxy thanks to recent majority acquisitions and incorporations (HR Factory, Alpha Sistemi, HR Sud).
“The corporate expansion aims to enhance technical skills in the HR area and to cover the Italian territory in a capillary way in its specific manufacturing districts, to offer tailor-made services in terms of consultancy and assistance”, explain the company.
“In the coming years we will see the growing importance of the cloud concept also applied to our robotic lawnmowers. Moving some logic to the cloud has many advantages, in particular: navigation control or work schedule planning; the possibility of creating functions that act on the robots not as single entities but as organized groups; archiving of work statistics of various robots and last but not least, making information on the status of robots accessible from any device that can connect to the Internet. Artificial Intelligence therefore moves from the robot to the cloud.” says Michele Galante, Director of the Laboratory of Ideas – ZCS R&D Area

Efforts will be concentrated on stabilizing the exponential growth of the last two years: many new research and development projects, a new building to ensure a safe, functional and comfortable work environment, strengthening human capital , paths to cultivate the talent of young people, training to deepen the skills of seniors, incentives and rewards for professional achievements and merits".
In particular, the construction of a new Building of over 6,000 m2 located near the Logistic Hub of Terranuova Bracciolini is planned. “A further infrastructural investment worth more than 7 million Euros” declares Bernini. “We will create a pole of Made in Italy technological excellence dedicated to Robotics in the heart of Tuscany: a total of 30,000 square meters of space occupied between offices, boardrooms, production and logistics where the various phases of conception, design, assembly and marketing will be concentrated professional robotic lawnmowers, increasingly intelligent”.
