In the first half of 2021, the entire sector of machinery for gardening and green maintenance is affected by a net growth, overall of 33.7%. The Comagarden data (based on Morgan statistics) released when there is now less than a month to the expected appointment of Eima International 2021 say so.
There are several categories of machines that have marked an increase in sales in the first half of the year. The best results were achieved by chainsaws, flying + 40% and robotic lawnmowers, with + 41.6% compared to the first half of last year. Excellent results also for lawnmowers (+ 28.4%) and brushcutters (+ 21.3%).
Instead, the boom of sprayers stops, which after the surge in 2020, with a + 45%, end in June 2021 with a -22%.
"The positive trend of the sector in these first six months of 2021 - make it known by Comagarden FederUnacoma - was also greatly influenced by the emergence of new lifestyles, those that increasingly enhance the passion for gardening and care of greenery, both at a hobby and professional level. According to Comagarden's assessments, the flywheel effect should continue in the rest of the year, further driving the market ".
Meanwhile, the market awaits the now imminent appointment at the Bologna Fair with Eima International 2021 and in particular the Eima Green fair, a reference point for buyers, gardening technicians, maintenance, sports facilities and for the entire audience of fans of green, which will be able to see closely the most important innovations in terms of machines and technologies, proposed by the participating companies.
The gardening hall will host 170 exhibitors from 12 countries, for an exhibition area of 10 thousand square meters between halls 33 and 35.
