Marketing Trend S.p.A., a company of inspiration, creation and totally Italian operation, was founded in 1986 by some private entrepreneurs experts supermarkets. The first store to teach Brico IO opens to the public in 1988.

In 1989 Coop Lombardia in the share capital of the company and, in the space of six years, acquires total control. Marketing Trend owns Brico IO brand, teaches that identifies 111 leading retailers in the DIY medium in size, both in direct management that in affiliation, now present throughout the national territory.

The Brico IO shops have a sales area between 1,500 and 3,000 square meters and offer 25,000 to 35,000 articles from the best brands covering all segments of the DIY: hobbies, small construction, maintenance and decoration of the house and the garden.
