Welcomed by the mayor of Parma Federico Pizzarotti, the president Asproflor Sergio Ferraro and some councilors of the association met the group of National Commissioners of the "Fiorito Common Environment Quality Mark", for a working day on the certification system for Municipalities that require the Quality Mark.
The final result has been translated into a detailed report: this will be delivered to the Municipalities to understand their strengths and in particular the sectors that present critical issues in which they should therefore strengthen their commitment.
The evaluation system at the service of the judges is detailed: 195 items are in fact examined. This document will allow a real assessment of the territory and of the functional elements to verify the quality of the living environment.
In the afternoon, an intense and interesting debate made it possible to understand the general desire to make the Quality Label a coveted goal required by the Municipalities, so that the value and importance of the intense work carried out by Asproflor and the commissioners are perceived.
The aim is to help administrations to enhance their attention to greenery, the environment, the quality of life of citizens and visitors, with the awareness that enhancing the floral beauty of the squares, avenues, suburbs and different areas of the territory leads to a real care of life and not just of people's survival.
