For Christmas, give a tree and support the park

The bad weather at the end of October hit the "Park of Villa Durazzo Pallavicini" in Genoa, which is part of the network of the Great Italian Gardens. The fury of the wind swept away a 170 year old cork, one of the flagships of the park, which dwelt on the land facing the Old Lake.
"The great gentle giant has crashed to the right of the alararia, crushing some holm oak but without damaging the path, without bothering the lake. It is cut off at the base where for some time it had become weak due to untreatable rotations ", they explain from Grandi Giardini Italiani.
The damage also affected other areas and trees in the park. So a solidarity initiative was launched for Christmas. With a minimum donation of 10 euros, in support of restoration costs, you will receive a fragment of the historical cemetery of the park. The donations collected will be allocated to the works of arrangement of the Park of Villa Durazzo Pallavicini.
You can join the initiative at the park ticket office or through a bank transfer for ten or more pieces.
