Exemption of contributions and 90% Green Bonus

The exemption from the payment of social security contributions and an intervention on the Green Bonus, increasing the deductibility and the waste for the products thrown away due to the lockdown. These are the requests made by the representatives of the Italian nursery sector to the government, to deal with the crisis situation due to the health emergency from Covid-19.
To sign the appeal are Luca Magazzini (Italian Nursery Association), Nada Forbici (Assofloro), Paolo Arienti (Planta Regina Nursery District) and Mario Faro (Nursery and Agro-Food Consortium of the Ionian Sea).
«We like to remind you that the Nursery sector is among the agricultural sectors that mostly employ manpower for production. The exemption from the payment of contributions would therefore be a concrete and important aid. Indirect compensation, capable of generating immediate benefits for companies: in addition to saving and therefore being able to maintain liquidity within companies, a reduction of production costs at least for 2020, an added value for companies that with great sacrifice they will try to keep jobs. A fair recognition for those who have long been committed to employing employees on a regular basis, against the scourge of undeclared work that also heavily afflicts our sector », explain the petitioners.
By supporting Coldiretti's proposal, the associations also hope that it can also be shared by the other agricultural unions, Confagricoltura and CIA.
"It is clear that for flower nurseries, considering the turnover for the month of April alone to evaluate compensation through the lost fund is ephemeral and illusory".
The second request concerns the Green Bonus whose deductibility percentage should be increased from 36% to 90% and in its taxable base of expenditure from 5,000 to 10,000 euros.
"An important tool for companies that deal with the care and construction of green works, which if expanded can significantly increase the direct benefits to businesses and also to citizens".
The appeal we make to our representatives and institutions is to have real and concrete attention for the nursery sector. A sector that has never enjoyed contributions of any kind and that even for the economic crisis linked to the coronavirus has weighed little or nothing on the State, which despite the serious crisis has not fired but rather made work to keep companies and do the programming (investments) of the new productions, without however the liquidity due to the lack of sales for the lockdown.
A sector of the agricultural world and its green supply chain that have an economic and social importance not to be overlooked, also for the health benefits it provides to cities.
