"The gardening center tells the territory: culture, landscape, roots and sustainable future": this is the theme of the seventh national conference Aicg (Italian Gardening Centers Association) scheduled in Borgo Egnazia in Savelletri di Fasano (Brindisi) on January 17 and 18 2019.
The title of the 2019 conference summarizes and highlights the most topical issues related to the strategic role that green and plants represent for the quality of urban spaces, in the processes of mitigation and adaptation to climate change, in the enhancement of landscapes and territories. The conference will also be an opportunity for an update on the issues most closely related to the technical and managerial management of the gardening centers, with an international look.
A novelty: will be presented by Emanuela Rosa-Clot, director of Gardenia, the first edition of the Gardenia-Aicg award for the best Italian garden centers.
Speakers include: the expert in plant neurobiology Stefano Mancuso, the ecophysiologist Cristos Xiloyannis, the behavioral economist Luciano Canova, the landscape designer Gioia Gibelli, expert in environmental analysis, the educator Marco Merlin, the journalist and director of Gardenia Emanuela Rosa-Clot and foreign guests Oliver Mathys, Sue Allen and Tammy Woodhouse.
Participation in the conference is free on reservation.
