On April 13th and 14th 2019 the tenth edition of the event "It's the way of the vegetable garden" will be held in the historic center of Camaiore. As part of the event, the administration announces the second competition "Creative Gardens", a festival of vegetable gardens in the city of Camaiore open to all those who want to try their hand in the composition of a free theme creative garden to be realized the day before the official opening of the event.
The prize for the winner will be a thousand euro check delivered during an award ceremony on April 14th.
With a view to enhancing aesthetics and improving the quality of life, the territory and the city, the competition intends to stimulate further reflections on the theme of the garden and the garden, encouraging new approaches to the environment and the landscape and raising citizens' awareness its use and protection.
By 11.59 pm on 10 March 2019, interested parties (individuals or teams) must send their project as established by the announcement, exclusively to PEC comune.camaiore@cert.legalmail.it. The ten projects admitted to the competition will be made by the same designers in via XX Settembre within as many tuff tanks filled with peat, made available by the Municipal Administration. Three places will be reserved for the two winners of the last edition and the special mention 2018.
The jury will be composed of industry experts and journalists, nominated after the deadline for the submission of projects. The jurors will evaluate the correspondence between project and realization, quality, harmony, balance and the choice of the theme. The jury also reserves the right to assign a special mention. Both, winner and Special Mention, will be entitled to participate in the contest "Creative Gardens 2020" with a project proposal that will directly access the implementation phase.
