The numbers describe an event that continues to grow and is confirmed at the top of the world both in terms of product range and the quality of the technologies on display. In view of the 2018 edition, the 43rd edition of Eima International is time for the organizers to give the final touches to the plans, with the assignment of the last stands, but the estimate is about 200 industries that will not be able to take part in the fair due to lack of space, despite the improvement of the quality of the exhibition spaces after the first redevelopment works of the exhibition center. To date, there are a total of 1930 exhibitors expected in Bologna from 7 to 11 November.
Also for the turnout numbers are expected that equal or even exceed the 2016 edition record (285 thousand visitors).
The international presence is strong and growing: exhibitors from abroad rise to 610, representing 49 countries (69 from Germany, 49 from France, 66 from Spain) but also from countries of other continents such as the United States (27 industries), India (27), China (141) with a very wide range of products covering over a thousand commodity items.
FederUnacoma, which organizes the event, has recently developed the complete layout of the exhibition, with the distribution of goods within the pavilions and the assignment of the stands. "Few adjustments to the floor plans will still be possible to make room for some companies on the waiting list, but it is estimated that no less than 200 applicant industries will not be able to take part in the event due to the exhaustion of each exhibition space", organizers.
The structure of BolognaFiere, which amounts to 340 thousand square meters gross and which offers about 150 thousand square meters net for the placement of products and technologies on display, will in fact be committed to the maximum of its capacity by this international exhibition, one of the largest to the world in the field of mechanics for agriculture, forestry, green care and related components.
The 2018 edition will include the enlargement (with pavilions 28, 29 and 30), the first step of the project that will lead in the next few years to the construction of four new pavilions and the total redevelopment of the structures and the external spaces.
The technologies presented at Eima International are located in 14 specialized sectors, and 6 thematic shows (Eima Components, Eima Green, Eima Idrotech, Eima Energy, Eima Digital and Eima M.i.A.). The components sector is the one that brings together the largest number of exhibiting companies (990), followed by the garden and green care sector, which has over 300 companies.
A large audience of economic operators, farmers and mechanization technicians is expected at Eima 2018, and the organizers believe it can be confirmed, or perhaps even improved, the record result of 2016, when visitors reached 285 thousand, coming from 150 countries.
