Established by BolognaFiere and FederUnacoma a "Technical Group of Safety Experts" in preparation for the world exhibition of agricultural mechanics, which will take place from 3 to 7 February 2021. In addition to the health protocols already provided for each trade fair event, there are initiatives that take into account the specific features of Eima International. Strengthening of security personnel, speeding up of entrances, special APPs to control the flow of the public in the various areas of the exhibition center are just some of the measures announced to make the Bologna exhibition even safer.
The digital preview, which will be held on a virtual platform from 11 to 15 November next, is very useful and will allow operators to pre-select the areas of interest and rationalize the calendar of meetings at the fair.
There is no fair like the other, because each event has different characteristics regarding the structuring of the spaces, the turnout of the public, the required interface between visitors and sales staff. This must be reflected on the health prevention measures for Covid 19, which obey the general criteria established by the health authorities but which must be modulated and integrated according to the specific needs of the different events. Based on this principle, a "Technical Group of Safety Experts" specifically dedicated to Eima International, made up of experts from the Bologna Fair (the structure that hosts the great agricultural mechanics event) and FederUnacoma (the association of manufacturers Italians who is the organizer of the exhibition). The Group, which sees the participation of technical and organizational staff of the two realities and health prevention experts, has the task of verifying the rigorous application of the anti-Covid protocols and, also, of developing adequate measures for the particular characteristics of EIMA International. The Bologna Fair has already implemented all the standard provisions - established by the anti-contagion security protocol approved by the Emilia Romagna Region in agreement with the city of Bologna and with the Local Health Authorities - which provide, among other things, separate routes in entry and exit for visitors, masks, temperature control and procedures for the sanitation of the environments, as well as precise provisions also for the fitters, who must operate within the areas of strict competence and the pre-assigned access "gates" , and which must be traceable even after the set-up activities through an attendance database. Provisions also consistent with the guidelines defined by the Italian and European trade fair associations. In the specific case of Eima International - an exhibition that engages the entire exhibition center with a very wide range of products of all sizes (from the largest combine harvesters to the smallest components) - the number of security personnel will be greatly increased to avoid gatherings. and to facilitate the orderly flow of visitors; always with specific reference to Eima, entry operations will be speeded up also through on-line accreditation systems that will avoid queues at ticket offices and stops at turnstiles, and also during the setting up phase, rapid assembly structures will be favored to reduce times of permanence at the fair of the employees. But above all - this is one of the priority points on the Technical Group's agenda - the flow and access management systems will also be enhanced via APP, which will be immediately downloadable by visitors, and which will indicate the flows of the public at any time of the day. various pavilions suggesting the most fluid routes. After all - argue the experts of BolognaFiere and FederUnacoma - digital technologies will be the keystone, the technological tool capable of transmitting projects, renderings and technical specifications remotely, allowing the interface between designers and builders and optimizing the appointment agenda. For this reason, the digital preview of Eima International - which will take place on a virtual reality platform from 11 to 15 November next in preparation for the "physical" Eima of February 2021 - promises to be a formidable system to select the interlocutors and rationalize the calendar of appointments at the fair, a precious support not only for marketing and communication but also for the health safety of all participants. Finally, the tasks of the Technical Group also include that of interacting with institutional entities such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Confindustria Trade Fairs Committee and
