Record numbers are expected for the new edition of Eima International, to be held at the Bologna exhibition center from 7 to 11 November 2018. Many new features are planned, including the launch of the two new pavilions, the first step towards the restructuring of BolognaFiere.
The total gross area of Eima will exceed 350 thousand square meters. This year the thematic sectors in which the review is organized will have a more accentuated graphic and scenographic characterization - announced by FederUnacoma, which organizes the event - so that it will be immediately recognizable to the public. Approximately 300 thousand visitors are expected.
The most significant novelty will be the opening of the new pavilions 29 and 30, for a total exhibition area of about 24 thousand square meters with single-column structures without pillars, which are now under construction within the restructuring project that foresees by 2022 l construction of four other pavilions and complete redevelopment of all the other exhibition structures.
"The EIMA exhibition has grown impressively, passing in the last ten years (five biennial editions) from 250 thousand to 350 thousand square meters gross of committed area and recording an increase in the number of visitors from 140,600 in 2008 to 285 thousand in 2016 - explained Massimo Goldoni, CEO of FederUnacoma, presenting the exhibition on the occasion of Fieragricola - and today is firmly in second place worldwide for the number of exhibitors and visitors, and in first place by level of internationality (150 operators) Countries and 70 official foreign delegations): the ample program of renovation of the exhibition structure can 'put the wings' to an already winning project ".
To the fourteen specialized sectors in which the exhibition is divided, and to the four thematic halls (Eima Components, Eima Green, Eima Energy and Eima MiA), this year a fifth thematic section is added, the Eima Idrotech Exhibition entirely focused on technologies and plant for irrigation and water management.
