Until March 26th, registrations for the training course in "Forest Techniques to protect biodiversity" are open, aimed at unemployed and unemployed people aged between 18 and 35 years. The course, lasting 374 hours, will take place from April to September at the Minoprio Foundation (Vertemate con Minopio, Como).
"The course" reads the presentation, "aims to train a professional figure with managerial and operational functions in relation to the forestry doctor and the responsible forest operator, through a training dedicated to the proper management of the forest territory, in particular for the conservation of biodiversity and the improvement of the resilience of forest systems ".
The course is open to 12 unemployed or unemployed subjects, with a secondary school (high school) diploma and / or certifiable experience in the forestry sector, from 18 to 35 years old at the date of approval of the Notice, residents or domiciled in the Lombardy Region.
The outgoing professional figure safely organizes the activities of a forestry site, coordinating the cutting and logging operations; in line with the national program to increase the reliance of forest systems, collaborates with the forestry doctor in monitoring and management of the forest territory, in soil protection, reduction of hydrogeological risks, CO2 absorption and biodiversity maintenance and ecosystem functionality.
