The numbers tell an event whose success was consolidated from year to year, with almost 15 thousand visitors for 120 thousand square meters of exhibition space, within a dozen historic homes open for the occasion, in a weekend gathering over 100 professionals. Franciacorta in bloom, the national festival which takes place in the medieval village of Bornato, returns this year on the third weekend in May, 19-21.
For 2017 the organizers have stressed the theme of landscape. "The landscape as a resource. From landscape to the territory "is in fact the main theme of the initiatives, exhibition, commercial and cultural: a way to rethink the Franciacorta, reasoning on the landscape as an essential element in the design of the future of the area, but also for its use and its development sustainable.
For Professionals a conference is proposed "The landscape as a resource", and the theme will also be proposed for the competition of gardens now in its fifteenth edition.
