Registrations for the training course dedicated to green therapists, entitled "Healing Gardens", are open until April 9th. Green design in care facilities ", to be held between May and June at the University of Milan.
The course, coordinated by Giulio Senes, intends to provide participants with the basics of green design in care facilities, but also of orthotics and plant essences best suited for therapeutic gardens.
The program includes 48 hours of frontal teaching and exercises. The following topics will be addressed: Healing Gardens design criteria; medical approach to Healing Gardens; design experiences and ecotherapy bases; vegetation in the Healing Gardens; therapeutic spaces for children; accessibility in Healing Gardens; hospital design; Environmental Psycology; ortoterapia; design experiences in Italy; survey and technical examination; laboratory; Healing Gardens Evidence Based Design; review and project discussion.
