Third appointment of "Qui cèè campo", a project of the municipality of Cernobbio with initiatives dedicated to innovations in agriculture and for green enthusiasts, scheduled for 19 and 20 September.
The more technical initiatives on the cultivation of olive trees - fertilizations, prunings, defenses against parasites - will be held on Saturday morning at the Polo del Verde of the Civic Center of Piazza S. Stefano, curated by the agronomist Gian Domenico Borelli in collaboration with the Associazione Olivicoltori del Basso Lario.
Various initiatives will be held at Villa Bernasconi on Saturday and Sunday, including the presentation of a new Hydrangea cultivar: the "Cernobbio" Hydrangea dedicated to the city and on this occasion there will be a short lesson on the cultivation of Hydrangee in the garden.
There will be an exhibition and sale of books on the vegetable garden, roses, greenery, botany, spontaneous and aromatic herbs, organic crops and micro-exhibitions of small producers of excellence.
Among the initiatives also a meeting by the Master Gardener Carlo Pagani on "Autumn gardening" and good practices to take care of green spaces during the winter.
