Glyphosate: Yes of Europe for another five years

The decision will be officially announced on December 12, when the EU will also respond to citizens who had promoted the "Stop glyphosate" initiative: the glyphosate license was renewed for another five years, after the European votes were again voted.
The subject has been at the center of a strong debate for months: the issue concerns security for the greed of herbicide. Controversial opinions have been expressed by the International Cancer Research Agency and the European Food Safety Authority, while a mobilization campaign has been launched among EU citizens.
The last vote was the decisive one: the countries assembled in the appeal committee finally gave ok to the renewal for another five years. It stops the position for the no of Italy and France, but in the end the German vote has shifted the balance. 18 countries favored, 9 controversies, 1 abstention.
