Undersecretary La Pietra explained that on a regulatory level, the government is working to follow up on the formation of the framework law that the sector has been waiting for for years.
Another important issue touched upon by the undersecretary for agriculture of the Meloni government was that of the ecological transition in agriculture, with the transition to new generation machines, as also by European indications, in view of electrification. However, La Pietra stressed that sustainability can only be achieved if it is also combined with economic sustainability for companies.
Finally, the undersecretary underlined the value of nurseries and greenery as an Italian excellence and an integral part of the agricultural system: a sector to be valued and supported in the best possible way.
