Grassmed, the cultural association that promotes the figure of the groundsman in Italy will be present at Flormart Special Edition, scheduled from 9 to 11 February 2022 at the Padua Fair.
On the occasion of the event, Grassmed organized some special training initiatives for sports gardeners.
A seminar is scheduled at the Convention Space during which Grassmed will show the objectives achieved so far for the recognition and preparation of the groundsman, and will illustrate the future ones, such as the launch of courses recognized by the regions and new professional opportunities. Appointment at 2 pm on 10 February in room 7A of pavilion 7.
The association will intervene at Flormart Special Edition to investigate issues such as ordinary and extraordinary maintenance in green fields with natural and / or artificial, mixed and / or reinforced grass can, extend its duration over time, observing the protocols dictated by the Federations, as well as respecting parameters and the environment with a significant reduction in energy costs, as well as safeguarding the health and safety of the athlete, increasing his performance, with the daily presence of the new professional figure of the "sports green technician" on the pitch.
We will also talk about training for operators of sports clubs, sports facilities, management and enhancement of places for sport both for adults and especially for children, combining the green area with an area with games, revaluation and redevelopment of urban park spaces. , peripheral areas and disused sports facilities, using the latest technologies without forgetting the sustainability and biodiversity of the territory, the three great allies of the sport of tomorrow.
Grassmed also invited as special guests some representatives of prestigious institutes, organizations and associations representing excellence in the turf sector at national and international level, as well as specialized foreign operators, to develop the business of Italian companies.
