In this video, a horticultural technician shows what is needed and how to install the masculine and reinforcing Tenax Black & White Cover film. It is a 40 micron polyethylene towel coupled: white at the top and black at the bottom.
The black and white mulch film is suitable for berry fruits that produce fruit such as tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, chillies and strawberries.
The black part in contact with the earth prevents the growth of weeds, while the white part attracts the sun's rays and maintains the correct temperature, increasing plant growth and ripening the fruits while avoiding contact with the soil.
The film thus prevents the growth of weeds ecologically, while simultaneously promoting the ripening of the plants. The fabric also keeps the soil temperature cooler, resulting in water savings. It does not burn young plants and white color disorientates aphids.
