This is the objective of IFLA (Internation Federation of landscape architects) an event dedicated to the landscape of global importance that this year will draw in Turin over a thousand professionals of the green from all over the world.The landscape at the center, with the conviction that not only improves the quality of life and make it more attractive territories, but it can also promote the economic development: only in Italy for example, the sector had a turnover, in 2014, over one billion euro, involving 120 thousand professionals.The theme for 2016 is Tasting the landscape": "a meaning - the organizers explain - that refers to the considerable size of the place, inviting us not to forget the emotional aspects and perception of the landscape. The title emphasizes the landscape project as a quality tool manufacturing, health, resources, common goods, and on the central role of the landscape in the qualification processes and regeneration of places and territories ".The focus will be on the peri-urban space, that place the border between town and country in which you play the sustainability of cities. All topics to be addressed by speakers of international prestige, as Carlin Combs, Saskia Sassen, Pietro Laureano, Raffaele Milani.IFLA 2016 is organized by the Italian Association of Landscape Architecture, consisting of 800 professionals involved in the design and management of open spaces, from the garden to the park to the landscape, in collaboration with the City of Turin.Architects are expected from over 60 countries (including New Zealand, Argentina, China and Norway), but also agronomists, engineers, technicians of public administrations, politicians and administrators.
