Basic course on irrigation systems

A basic course for gardeners, entirely dedicated to irrigation systems, from laying to management to maintenance. Classes will be held from 14 to 16 february at the Agricultural School of Monza.
A course for gardeners who intend to broaden their field of action by offering the customer the service of managing an irrigation system.
"The didactic set-up - explained by the Agricultural School of Monza - is centered on small realizations, and allows to know the water and its physical laws, the components of the plants, the arrangement in the garden as well as their management, in view of use without waste ”.
The program includes an introductory part on installations (fixed and mobile, sprinkling and drip irrigation) and principles of hydraulics; then the structure of the plant: power sources, pressurization units and pumps with explanations of the flow / pressure graph, filtration, notes on fertigation components, distribution network, regulators, accessories, automatisms. And again, hints of plant design: data collection, precipitation calculation and irrigation times; outline of subirrigation: what it is, advantages and disadvantages; periodic maintenance, breakdowns and repairs, programming.
