New appointments at John Deere Italy


In the 1th of November, 2014 Simon Nardin, already Branch Tactical Marketing Manager, will assume the role of Customer Support Branch Manager of the Italian subsidiary after a short transition period with Sergio Fumagalli, who will leave office in order to achieve pension terms. In this role Simon Nardin will manage all aspects of customer service, leading the team to achieve the objectives of branch customer satisfaction and dealer. Nardin will be responsible for performing all the tactical plans of the service and ensure the development of the technical skills of the field staff and the licensee, in order to prevent and resolve technical issues that may impact the performance of the machines. Nardin began his career in 2008 as a Demonstrator John Deere Combine Harvesters and SPFH in Italy; In 2009 he was appointed Product Line Manager and Territory Manager in 2011 and, most recently, Branch Tactical Marketing Manager. During his experience of John Deere dealer and contractor, Nardin has acquired extensive experience in the repair of agricultural machinery and diagnostics as well as in the operation and optimization, developing a cultural education and the field that well qualify him for this new position. As mentioned, Nardin take this responsibility strategic Sergio Fumagalli, who after more than 34 years of dedicated service to John Deere Italian deservedly reached the limits pension with effect from November 1, 2014. Fumagalli began his career at John Deere Italian in January 1980 as an Analyst Guarantees and after several positions of increasing importance and responsibility in areas of Customer Support, Sales Promotion and Marketing, was appointed to his current position in 2004. During his Fumagalli career has demonstrated strong ethics, commitment, passion and professionalism to clients and to John Deere. His detailed knowledge of business processes, their team spirit and knowledge of the customer fail to colleagues, dealers and customers. John Deere Italian Fumagalli grateful for the significant contribution came during his professional career and wish him a long, prosperous and happy retirement. A take over from Simon Nardin in his role as Branch Tactical Marketing Manager for John Deere Italian, finally, again with effect from November 1, 2014, will be David Misturini, that in this new position will continue the work done by his predecessor managing the functions of marketing, promotion and approval, implementing the activities necessary to support the ambitious growth strategy of the branch in the Italian market. Misturini began his collaboration with John Deere Italian in March 2008 as a trainee in the marketing department, after taking various positions within areas such as Marketing and Sales AMS Sales & Marketing Specialist, Harvesting Sales Specialist and Product Sales Specialist Tractor. In February 2013 he moved to Mannheim Misturini as Product Manager for the entire range of tractors factories in Pune (5C, 5D and 5E 3 cylinders) and Mexico (5E 4-cylinder), while also providing his valuable contribution in the contribution of knowledge markets of North Africa and Middle East Region 2. The experience gained during the assignments and in-depth product knowledge will enable Misturini to successfully continue the important work carried out in recent years by Simon Nardin in this function key.
