It is titled The Awakening" the eighth Orticolario, the event dedicated to the passion for the garden hosted by Villa Erba in Cernobbio, near Como. Among the many events of this year, the event ospitarà also a sound garden, where you can walk among vegetable crops listening to the sounds spread by special musical instruments."Orticolario is a garden of knowledge to dedicate and to invest the time, because each edition is renewed, innovating and stimulating new discoveries. Without the frenzied rush of having to see everything in a short time, in order not to miss anything, the event deserves, however, attention and observation, because it is, every time, a single plot and particularly between art and landscape, botany and design, where the culture for an advanced gardening is the protagonist. The atmosphere Orticolario should be lived, perceived and internalized, waiting edition 2017, to which we are already thinking "explains Moritz Mantero, President Orticolario.Headlining this year visitors will be the "sixth sense", in a dialogue between man and nature, while the flower chosen to represent the eighth edition is the anemone, the wind flower.Also this year will be presented the award "For an advanced gardening", which will go to the Spanish landscape architect Fernando Caruncho "For the harmony that can inspire its landscape projects, in different contexts, always finding exciting points of contact between philosophy and garden art, history and botany, culture and nature ".In Central padglione it will be exposed the "Kosmos" draft Vittorio Peretto, while in different wings will be located installations landscapers, designers, illustrators, nurserymen, made in collaboration with schools of Minoprio Foundation gardening and professional services for the Institute ' agriculture "San Vincenzo" of Albere with Cassano.Visitors can also admire the works of four artists, crafted just for Orticolario, while walking in the park of Villa Erba can discover the gardens and installations selected through an international competition "Creative Spaces" 2016.
