All you have to know about Pelargonium, most commonly known as geranium, is the most famous plant of the summer. Photos, curiosity, history, on a site promoted and recently launched by the European farmers of Pelargonium.
The initiative is called "Pelargonium for Europe", with the Dümmen Orange growers, Elsner PAC, Florensis / P. van der Haak Handelskwekerij, Geranien Endisch, Selecta One.
The intent of the site (http://www.pelargoniumforeurope.com/it/) is to promote and guarantee the trade of geraniums over time. Pelargonium for Europe operates in 9 European countries and since 2017 marketing initiatives have been supported in some countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, Switzerland and Sweden, from the European Union.
With their bright and abundant blooms, the typical Pelargonium of summer, they are able to transform balconies, terraces, gardens, flowerbeds and parks into fantastic color spots.
The origins are South Africa: it is precisely from the head of Good Hope, that this plant, in the seventeenth century, began its journey to the discovery of the various countries.
