Pesticides: millionaire fine for Bayer and Basf

A whopping 265 million dollars in compensation to a grower who sued Bayer and Basf after the peach trees were destroyed due to the use of a popular pesticide, the Dicamba, on whose use however there are controversies due to the ease with which it spreads and attacks weaker plants.
As Bloomberg reports, it is the first lawsuit in the United States regarding Dicamba, on the American market for many years.
For Bayer, the most famous precedent is that of the gardener suffering from cancer who obtained compensation of $ 290 million after a jury acknowledged that he had not been sufficiently informed of the danger of the RoundUp.
