If beauty surrounds you, photograph it and take part in the competition: this is the spirit of the new Asproflor initiative, to enhance the work of the municipalities that are committed to a nice and pleasant green. There is time until October 6th to participate in the #ilMIOcomunefiorito national competition - Postcards from the flowered municipalities of Italy. The awards ceremony at Pomaretto during the international event on November 10th.
The idea was launched by Asproflor, the Association of Flower Growers, on the occasion of the launch of the "National Trademark of Quality for the Fiorito Common Life Environment"
All Italian citizens aged 18 or over can participate in the photo contest. The shots must have as protagonists the green areas of Italian municipalities. The objective is to tell the images of the many corners and green areas of the municipalities of our country.
Citizens will be able to participate by publishing the shots with the hastag #ilMIOcomunefiorito on their Instagram profile.
All the details of the competition are available on the www.asproflor.it website. The winners will receive a t-shirt, will see their photos published on the National Agenda of Flowering Municipalities and will be able to participate in the final event in Pomaretto next 10 November.
"We wanted to organize and promote this competition - explains the President of Asproflor, Renzo Marconi - to try to make citizens as participatory as possible and to testify with photos the great commitment of Italian Municipalities in favor of a beautiful and well-kept green. In the year of the Quality Mark it was important to involve an even greater number of people in this journey, which is not only a "reward" to the Municipalities but also a real education and awareness of the importance of a good care for public parks. Thanks from now on to all those who will dedicate some of their time to us, participating with their photos in the contest we have promoted "
What, in concrete terms, are the repercussions of the Fiorito Common Environment Quality Mark? Among others, it contributes to improving the framework of life and the urban environment; it is an important element of the image of the municipality and its attractiveness to visitors and businesses; it is a tool for promoting tourism, both as a tourism product in itself and as a quality element of hospitality (the slogan often used is "to flourish and to welcome"); plays an economic role for the spin-offs and jobs generated in the floriculture, tourism and trade sectors; plays a social role due to its character as a collective enterprise; Finally, it plays an educational and awareness-raising role for citizens in respecting the environment of daily life and the effort to improve the framework of life, through initiatives such as "The Case and Flower Balconies Competition", "Flowered Schools".
