Prepare the plants to spring bloom thanks to a good pruning: the Gruppoverde of Cascina Cuccagna is organizing a workshop for the afternoon of Saturday, February 25, starting at 15.
Leading the meeting will be Antonio Velonà, Agricultural Technical Institute teacher of Via Litta Midignani Milan: he will give the theoretical and practical advice on the notions participants pruning of flowering plants and fruit.
During the afternoon we will talk about the function of pruning and its classification according to the different types, so the effects of cutting plants, the cutting types, how to execute them properly and what are the reactions of plants.
They will be presented examples of pruning tall trees, ornamental shrubs such as hydrangeas, roses, forsythia, wisteria, hibiscus, apple and pear, and finally of life.
