Municipal and private gardens, passion for plants, but also architecture and design: these are the themes of the seventh edition of the Green Festival and the Rome Landscape, scheduled May 19 to 21. The event has become a reference point for professionals and fans of the green.
From the site of the event you can find out some anticipation on the issue in 2017, as the forest with over one hundred native plants - a symbol of the Italian landscape - which will be located in the vault of the auditorium, "with the aim of later becoming an urban forest" the organizers said.
The festival will host gardens specially made for the event by garden designers, where visitors will find ideas and inspiration for your outdoor spaces. There will then nurserymen, companies specializing in outdoor, craftsmen.
Several meetings are planned to explore the themes of the Festival, and three contests: "Creative Adventures", dedicated to young architects who are asked to design contemporary gardens, "Balconies for Roma", dedicated to all the under30 and finally the "Short Story under the leaves ".
