Sale of garden machinery: data for the first half of 2018

Despite the difficult start, with a first quarter in net decline (-11%), it closes with an overall growth of 1.4% in the first half of 2018, according to Comagarden data (based on Morgan statistical surveys) which concern the Italian market of machines and equipment for the garden.
The most consistent increases relate to brushcutters, trimmers, blowers / aspirators and lawnmowers. The forecast is that the positive phase will continue for the second half of the year.
It is in this panorama that the new edition of Eima Green will take place in November, the show inside Eima International entirely dedicated to machines and technologies for gardening and green care.
In the three dedicated pavilions (for a total of 14 thousand square meters), about 300 industries from 13 countries will exhibit from 7 to 11 November (as well as Italy, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, New Zealand , Russia, Spain, United States, Switzerland and Turkey).
The review of Eima Green, aimed at economic operators, gardening technicians, maintenance and sports facilities, as well as the great audience of green enthusiasts, takes place in a dynamic moment for the market sector.
Beyond the trends of the Italian market, Eima Green will be an opportunity to monitor the sector at a global level, being present numerous foreign operators, representing mature markets - see those of the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France - and emerging markets such as those of Asian and Arab countries. As for Europe as a whole, the market comes from a positive result in 2017, with an overall growth of 4.1%, due to approximately 19 million mechanical vehicles and tools sold (EGMF data), a result that industry in the sector hope will be confirmed also in the current year.
Italian and foreign operators Eima Green will offer a very wide range of self-propelled mechanical equipment, hand tools and accessories for every need, and will present a calendar of conferences and training events on topics such as technological and typological innovation of machines, urban green design, safety in the use of mechanical means.
