Twelve of the best international athletes will compete in Kungsbacka Fjord, inside the iconic Tjoloholm castle near Gothenburg, Sweden, for the Stihl Timbersport Champions Trophy.
It will be a head-to-head competition and all participants will have to complete four disciplines: Stock Saw, Underhand Chop, Single Buck and Standing Block Chop. The fastest athlete of each single match will proceed to the next round until the two best athletes remain in the final match.
The protagonists come from all over the world: New Zealand, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Sweden and Italy.
To defend the flag will be Andrea Rossi, fresh from a recent victory during the first national race of the year.
On Saturday 25 May the Rookie World Championship will also take place with ten emerging athletes.
The event will be streamed live on all STIHL Timbersports social media channels and on Youtube.
