From February to November a workshop-course will be held in Milan, at the S. Romano farm, to learn how to cultivate and manage an urban vegetable garden, also in sharing. The route is led by an expert technician.
Classes are scheduled between classroom and field with the possibility of cultivating, collecting products and independently attending the garden.
The course will be held on Saturday from 9 to 12 and on Wednesdays from 6 to 9 pm, with possible changes due to the seasonal trend.
Among the topics discussed there will be sowing, transplanting, cultivation calendars, irrigation, tillage, fertilization, compost, parasites and diseases, rotation and mixing of crops, main cultivation techniques (biological, biodynamic, etc.), winter protection (cold greenhouse) and warm bed).
