That of vegetable gardens in the city is a phenomenon in constant growth in recent years, and to take stock of their dissemination, who cares for them and what functions they perform for Tuesday, June 5 is scheduled the conference "The city of gardens".
"During the meeting will be presented the results of a research, lasting two years and conducted on the 134 municipalities of the metropolitan city, on the phenomenon of urban gardens in the great Milan - explain the organizers - how many they are, who care them and how, what they produce, what other functions do they do, how can they contribute to the development of the urban landscape? "
The research was promoted by Italia Nostra Milano Nord, under the direction of Mario Cucchi, together with the Polytechnic of Milan, at the University of Milan, the Law Firm Leone-Torrani e Associati, with the support of the Cariplo Foundation and the participation of the Agrarian School of the Monza Park.
