Aromatic plants, know them and cultivate them
Which properties have a herb? How can we cultivate and use in the home? In garden centers Viridea comes a new free course for all orchard and garden enthusiasts, during which you can discover the properties and characteristics of medicinal plants, both in the kitchen, either as natural remedies.Leading the meetings will be an experienced naturopath, which will provide historical background on the early uses of aromatic, advice on how to grow, harvest and store herbs. You can then explore the different uses of plants such as basil, garlic, parsley, sage, rosemary, lavender, bay, oregano, marjoram, dill, mint, thyme, coriander, chives, chamomile, fennel, helichrysum. Finally, we will present some curiosity and unconventional uses of medicinal plants, already appreciated since ancient times.Participants will receive a free, while supplies last, the Herbs & Aromas" guide, with 70 fact sheets on the most common aromatic plants and more than 100 recipes.The courses, lasting two hours, are completely free and will be held on the following dates in Viridea Garden Center: March 19 in Torri di Quartesolo, April 2 in Montebello della Battaglia and San Martino Siccomario, Saturday, April 9 in Collegno and Settimo Torinese, on April 16 to Ronado and Cusago, April 23 in Rho."
