With 327,100 visitors, the 45th edition of EIMA is consecrated as the best ever, surpassing the record of 317,000 visitors achieved in 2018. The next appointment is already set in Bologna from 6 to 10 November 2024.
The 2022 edition of EIMA international reaches its maximum historic result, with 327,100 visitors, of which 57,300 from abroad.
The Bologna exhibition organized by FederUnacoma thus leaves behind the most critical two-year period for trade fair events (2020-2022), determined first by the health emergency and then by the difficult economic situation, and strengthens its leadership in the trade fair scene.
The international character is the strong point of this exhibition - the organizers underline - it is the element that identifies it and makes it recognizable compared to any other. Foreign visitors, coming from every continent, cover 18% of the total attendance, and 80 are the official delegations of economic operators - organized thanks to ICE Agenzia - who animated the business meetings in the specially set up Pavilion of Foreign Delegations.
“The success of EIMA confirms the growing interest in new generation agricultural technologies that make it possible to cover the food needs of a global population that will grow by almost a billion units within the next ten years – declares the president of FederUnacoma Alessandro Malavolti – and confirms how in every region of the world work is being done to innovate cultivation methods, trying to use water resources and soil fertility in a scientific and sustainable way”. "From this perspective - added Malavolti - a fair like EIMA has an important mission also for future years".
“The result of this edition is the result of very rigorous monitoring that we carry out as a Federation, trying to offer the manufacturers and the public of operators ever more efficient exhibition services – argued the general manager of FederUnacoma Simona Rapastella – and it is the result of a very specific strategy that concerns the Eima brand and the contents of the exhibition, as well as an important investment that we have made to promote it and to involve all strategic targets". "Investments to which must be added those made by BolognaFiere to improve the structures of the fairgrounds - concluded Rapastella - which will also continue in the coming years in step with an exhibition that has a great present and a great future".
The next edition of EIMA International has already been scheduled for 6 to 10 November 2024, but there will also be a major event for agricultural machinery next year, with the return of Agrilevante by EIMA, the exhibition dedicated to mechanization for crops of the Mediterranean area which takes place at the Bari fair from 5 to 8 October 2023.
