The Oasi Zegna Rhododendron Basin won the poll launched online by the ilparcopiubello.it network, thus winning the title of "The Most Beautiful Flower of Italy 2017".
Between mid-May and mid-June Oasis Zegna offers one of the most fascinating shows: along the first four kilometers of Panoramica Zegna, between Trivero and Bocchetta di Caulera, you can enjoy the marvelous flowering of rhododendrons. A stop to not miss is in the beautiful Rhododendron Conca, a palette of colors of extraordinary beauty.
Desired by Ermenegildo Zegna who has housed azaleas, dahlias, hydrangeas and many hundreds of rhododendrons, the Rhododendron Basin has assumed the present physiognomy thanks to the great landscape architect Pietro Porcinai and more recently to the architect Paolo Pejrone.
In the middle of the flowering, four guided hikes are organized in the Conca dei Rododendri in collaboration with the Italian Giardini. The walks will be held on Sunday 21 and 28 May, Friday 2 and Sunday 4 June.
